According to experts, the creation of a single banking application for working with the digital ruble can take from several months to one year. However, depending on the specific conditions and requirements, the period may increase to 2.5 years. The Bank of Russia has supported the initiative of the Association of Banks of Russia (ADB) to develop a mobile application and optimize the architecture of the digital ruble implementation. The regulator also expressed its willingness to cooperate with software solution providers to reduce the costs of banks to refine their systems
