Expert commentary
Expert Anton Averyanov, CEO of ST IT, noted that such a large-scale failure could be caused by several factors, including possible problems in large data centers in Russia. “In places where servers and data of large companies are located, serious failures could occur, which, in turn, led to outages of other systems,” he explained
The director stressed that such failures always cause significant damage to many large companies, so after an incident they all strive to restore their services as quickly as possible. "Some services remained operational, which indicates that the problem affected only certain data centers. Companies whose data and main resources are located in other data centers that did not encounter problems were able to continue their work," Anton Averyanov added
