At the XVII International Economic Forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum" in Kazan, ST IT signed a cooperation agreement with Oman.

ABOUT THE NEWS

A ceremonial signing of the cooperation agreement between ST IT and the Sultanate of Oman took place in the presence of a delegation from Oman. A meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman and the Minister of Foreign Affairs

As reported by Tadviser, Russia's ST IT has signed an IT contract with the Omani telecom operator Labbik Telecom worth ₽1.2 billion.

The Russian group of companies ST IT has signed a strategic agreement with the Omani telecommunications company Labbik Telecom for an amount exceeding 7 million Omani rials – approximately ₽1.2 billion. The contract covers the development of IT solutions, the creation of digital products and AI‑based solutions, with full support at all stages of the lifecycle. This became known in late May 2026. The agreement involves work in three areas simultaneously: information technology, telecommunications, and AI solutions. The key difference between this project and standard outsourcing is an integrated product‑based approach: ST IT acts not just as a code‑writing contractor, but as a partner that helps the client formulate business goals, design the logic of the digital service, and bring it to a measurable result.

"Companies are increasingly looking not for a contractor for a specific task, but for a partner who understands how a digital product should impact processes and sustainable growth. This approach has proven to be in demand beyond the Russian market," commented Anton Averyanov, CEO of ST IT.
